Ecommerce results in 25% of all goods sold being returned. The convenience of ecommerce has normalized shopping habits that lead to more returns.
From all ecommerce returns there’s nearly 5.8B pounds of landfill waste generated in a year and 16m metric tons of carbon dioxide emissions, equivalent of waste produced by 3.3m Americans in a year
With Google Goldilocks, brands can:
Reduce the amount of apparel waste to meet sustainability goals
Increase awareness among their customers of the environmental impact of returning from shopping online, while enhancing the online shopping experience
Keep customer data secure: video content is not stored in the cloud, and all customer data is encrypted
Google Goldilocks: a plugin for all brands to reach their sustainability goals by reducing returns and helping customers find clothes that are “just right”
